TMK IPSCO is a global manufacturing leader of seamless tubing and casing, drill pipe, line pipe, coupling stock, premium connections and oilfield accessories. Due to our GROWTH and EXPANSION, we are currently seeking a Field Services Representative – Tubular Products for our Houston, TX location.

The successful candidate will evaluate TMK and TMK IPSCO tubular products previously sold, either directly to the customer or through distribution, in the event of a claim for damaged or defective product. The secondary responsibility of the Field Service Representative will be to evaluate the physical condition of unsold TMK and TMK IPSCO products in inventory at TMK and TMK IPSCO approved stocking locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain accurate reporting of all activities, complaints and findings
• Examine threads, protectors, stencil, pipe body for damage or deterioration
• Visit customer rig sites, yards and inspection companies as needed to successfully resolve customer concerns
• Visit the various TMK and TMK IPSCO stock locations on an as needed basis
• Complete audit forms as necessary
• Maintain records and logs of inventory evaluation and notify proper persons as needed
• Assist in providing accurate inventory counts at all stock locations
• Monitor 3rd Party inspections, disposition and oversee repairs of all material.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Requires a College degree or at least 5 years of relevant industry experience; experience with Electro-Magnetic and Magnetic Particle inspection methods for pipe and tube is desirable
• Oil field experience, pipe mill experience in production and/or quality assurance, and experience with premium connections are highly preferred
• Current certification to ASNT TC-1a Level 1 in Ultrasonic Inspection required
• Must possess competency in inspection of API threads
• Computer proficiency is a must, specifically MS Word and Excel
• Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record
• Certification to Level II or higher in NDT methods highly preferred
• Familiarity with heat treating and upsetting is a plus
