Company growth requires personnel increase. Long term position available for high energy and extremely self motivated person with mechanical ability, welding, industrial safety or quality control experience. Individual must have basic computer skills. Company is willing to train a qualified individual for the position as an inspection technician to work in our crane and lifting device safety inspection dept. The expected work environment is for our industrial customers in a wide variety of industries. OSHA 10 Hour Safety and/or TWIC card a plus. Individual must be able to work at heights of 100’+ and position may require confined space entry. Individual should have the knowledge for the basic operation of manlifts, forklifts, and overhead cranes/hoists as this equipment will be utilized as part of their inspection activities. Position requires availability for a 40+ hour week and overtime may be mandatory. Extensive overnight travel, up to 260 nights per year is to be expected. All travel and overnight expenses are compensated. Individual will be required to drive company vehicles, a current drivers license is mandatory and a good driving record essential.
