General Description:
Performs NDT inspection utilizing nondestructive testing (NDT) instruction and procedure; interprets codes, standards, and specifications; selects test methods, techniques, and procedures. Operates industrial ultrasonic and radiographic test equipment and interprets inspection results to determine if acceptable. Prepares inspection reports, documents inspection results and maintains organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
Work experience requirements:
At least 2 years experience in UT, MT, RT, and PT inspection
Experience with aerospace components preferred
Other NDT methods a plus
Must be certifiable as a NAS 410 level 2
Skills: Decision Making skills, Reporting, Documentation, and Attention to Detail. Integrity and Objectivity a must.
