Position Summary:
To continuously increase the manufacturing capability of National K Works production
process.
Primary responsibilities of this position:
Operate various CNC mill/Lathe machines.
Provide feedback to Set-up operator.
Verification of part measurement procedure.
Verification of discrepancies in production documents.
Verification of material.
Review progress with Quality Assurance to ensure proper procedure of part measurement.
Keeping work area clean and organized.
Properly using Personal Protection Equipment.

Ability to apply proper machining techniques and procedures.
Ability to use precision measuring equipment.
Ability to read and understand G-Code language.
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
Knowledge of CNC programs.
Knowledge of speeds and feeds related to various materials.
Basic math skills.
Basic computer skills.
Minimum experience required for this position:
Two years of experience operating CNC mills/lathes; or 1 year of vocational school with six months practical experience.
Required education for this position:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); Technical School certificate in Machine Tool Techniques, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
