· Four years minimum experience as a Level II Radiographer and 4 years minimum experience as a Level II Penetrant Inspector with significant experience with Aerospace Alloys, welds and brazed joints.  Certifications must be active.  Requires an Associate's Degree in a related field.
· Provide leadership to Level I and Level II NDT personnel.
· Experience with radiographic and FPI techniques and methods especially digital radiography.
· Ability to produce written documents for radiographic and FPI systems and thorough knowledge of basic radiographic and FPI principles.
· Must be capable of training other NDT personnel for certification and re-certification examinations.
· Ability to interpret product and process drawings.
· Must have a thorough knowledge of Parker GTFSD NDT systems and maintain all calibration records and techniques.
· Must be able to make decisions based on written procedures and acceptance criteria.
· Must possess knowledge and understanding of lean processes and techniques.
· Must possess intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
· Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
· Must work well with others in a team environment.
· Must be able to work overtime hours on a regular basis.
· Must be able to review and interpret regulatory requirements as it pertains to radiation safety. 
· Must be able to train personnel in radiation safety.
· Perform other related responsibilities as determined by the supervisor.
· Must meet essential functions for the position.
Skills:


o Insure that the system is operating properly.
o Maintain a calibration system.
o Review, approve, and sign new radiographic techniques for both internal techniques and supplier techniques.
o Maintain notices and postings when change occurs.
o Perform personnel audits.
o Perform training when procedures and processes change.
o Recertify personnel as certification periods expire.
o Perform System Audits.
o Update personnel training records and files including QCIP sheets.
o Perform certification tests for new personnel.
o Perform the archival checks.
o Inspect working materials that “wear” and get them replaced as needed.
o Review the certifications for new materials and equipment.
o Sign and approve system documentation.
o Perform a review of each individual to insure interpretation is accurate.
o Insure that interpretations are consistent between personnel.
o Insure preventative maintenance is performed (Tubes, CR systems, DR systems, cassette replacement, order lead letters, and misc. supplies).
o Update the system for new requirements.
o Stay current with customer (ASNT, ASTM & NADCAP) requirements.
o Perform radiation safety surveys.
o Review and sign off all calibration records.
o Review and sign off all eye exams.
o Approve all eye examiners in writing.
o Review all processing involving NDT sequences.
o Be involved in all NDT Audits by NADCAP and customers.
