				SUMMARY
 
Radiographs IR decoy flares, shipboard countermeasures, practice bombs and various other countermeasures and inspect for flaws, cracks, or presence of foreign materials by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
„X	Operation of Real Time X-Ray machine and computer  
        program of real time x-ray software. 
„X	Operation of X-Ray Imaging machine and associated 
        Imaging reader and software.
„X	Reading and interpretation of images to approved 
        Test Specifications and In Process Inspection 
        Instructions to determine conformance to 
        specifications. 
„X	Compile reports of inspections performed and 
        notification of those results to appropriate 
        individuals in a timely manner. 
„X	Mentor and train Level I Radiography  Technicians 
        and Trainees
	        
	    
		    
		        Skills:
		    
		    
				„X	Must be able to lift 50 lbs of weight
„X	Must have good written and oral communications 
        skills
„X	Must be self directed and able to work with 
        minimum supervision
„X	Level 2 Certification in accordance with NAS 410.
„X	Familiarity with Microsoft XP and Vista operating 
        systems, including the use of basic Microsoft 
        Operating Systems commands, and the use of CD and 
        DVD drive media.
„X	Must be eligible to possess explosives under the 
        Safe Explosives Act of 2003 (as amended) as 
        required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and 
        Firearms (ATF) for all employees of Kilgore.
„X	Must be able to obtain and retain a Department of 
        Defense (DoD) security clearance
„X	Must be willing to work in an environment that 
        requires a ¡§Safety First¡¨ attitude. Employee must 
        be willing to obey all Safety, Health & 
        Environmental rules/regulations prescribed by 
        regulatory agencies that are incorporated into 
        company policy.  Employee must report any unsafe 
        acts or conditions immediately to their 
        supervision and participate in a team hazard to 
        produce a work place that is free from hazards and 
        personal injury.
„X	Must be able to read and follow Standard Operating 
        Procedures (SOP).
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 
„X	High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
„X	Minimum of 1 year in x-ray.
„X	Level 2 Certification in accordance with NAS 410
LANGUAGE SKILLS 
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY 
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
