Location: Sterlington, Louisiana
Job Summary
Mechanical Engineer to assist in the mechanical design of existing tanks, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
Position Requirements:
0-5 years related experience in the Petro-Chemical industry.
Working knowledge/experience in the use of ASME and API industry standards for pressure vessel and tank designs.
Experience with vendor document review and coordination is a plus
Working knowledge of computer design programs is a plus.
Familiar with shop fabrication of pressure vessels, tanks, and specialty equipment is a plus.
Some field experience such as equipment maintenance and inspection is a plus.
Heat exchanger designer experience desirable.
Experience with process safety management and mechanical integrity is a plus.
