Field Draftsman Technician with the ability to work in the Design Team to create required detail P&ID and PFD drawings of process piping, utility piping and electrical/ instrumentation.
Job Responsibilities:
•Create P&ID and PFD Drawings in Refining Terminals
•Create detail asset register of all equipment
•Work with Terminal team to create CAD files and Asset Register
Minimum Qualifications:
•3-5 years working experience with field isometric walk downs
•Ability to work from sketches, existing parts and or verbal instruction to create parts and drawings
•A sound knowledge of engineering design principles
•Strong mechanical aptitude
•Good computer skills (including Microsoft Office package)
•The ability to work as part of a team
•The ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of design standards and techniques including ANSI Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
• General design knowledge of mechanical systems.
• Physical dexterity to perform tasks related to the examination, testing, and evaluation of equipment such as climb ladders, work from elevated heights, and carry small parts and assemblies.
• Familiarity with Refining Terminals and their nomenclature
