Obtain position as AWS-CWI/QA-QC/Welding Supervisor, ultimately in a fabrication shop environment, either structural steel, piping, or Pressure Vessel.

1. CWI for all shop fabrication of structural steel and metal building components, including shear, SAW Auto-Welding, Plate Fit-Up, Welding, and coatings.
2. QC Manager for same and Quality records keeping for all shop fabrications. Designed calibration program for all shop measuring devices, maintains records for said program.
3. Performs routine maintenance on all shop welding equipment.
4. Oversees and documents all WPS's and welder qualification.

Upon graduation joined USAF, served 3 years active duty, served 6 years in Louisiana Air National Gaurd, Vietnam Veteran. Worked as a certified TIG welder for one year, moved into inspection field.
Began inspection career in 1978 with small independent testing lab located in Belle Chasse, La. Worked in oilfield, petrochemical, chemical, shipbuilding, building construction, nuclear industries. Business dissolved after 3 years.
Moved to Los Angeles, CA and worked for Boothe & Twining in Oxnard and Santa Ana for 1 year.
Worked independently for 2 years in Guatemala as welding supervisor and QC manager on a large boiler project.
Employed by Space Science Services for 9 years on numerous and diversified projects. Manager for numerous projects at NASA, power plants, pulp and paper industry, aerospace, shipping, etc.
Employed by Law Engineering (Law Gibb) for 4 years as a field coordinator and inspector on numerous industrial projects throughout the US and abroad.
Current salary, $18.00 per hour U.S., annual with overtime $55K.
References, both personal and professional furnished by request.
Certifiable to ASNT-TC-1A -Level II RT, MT, PT, MT. Extensive film interpretation experience to all above mentioned codes and standards.
