Machinist / Screw Machine Set Up, Operate – Davenport, Acme, New Britain
Major corporation in North Carolina is expanding their southern screw machine department. We are searching for highly skilled set up machinist and operators with automatic screw machine experience. We have openings on all 3 shifts. This is a well known corporation with many employees with over 20 years with the company. We are looking to fill 10 openings at their North Carolina facility. They have a good moving package and pay for hotel, transportation and airline tickets to interview. This corporation offers great benefits, 401K, paid time off, and bonuses. Their area has good schools, low taxes, affordable housing and career opportunities for other family members.
We are searching for candidates with the ability to either set up or operate multi spindle screw machines. Ideally candidates will have experience on Davenport, Acme and/or New Britain screw machines. Operators will need experience loading the machine, changing tooling and inspecting parts. Set up machinists will need experience setting tools, collets, tool holders, cams and gears. Past experience working with common attachments including threading is needed.
