We are currently seeking a candidate who will provide leadership and coordination of the sales and marketing functions for a leading, emerging non-destructive test system manufacturer, in the Greater Los Angeles area.

The right candidate will identify new markets and pursue recognized customers across a variety of manufacturing sectors. Our client has long term relationships with their customers in development projects or in production commitments that you, the candidate will grow and improve.

The right candidate for this position will also be responsible for forming relationships with new customers and negotiating contracts. This position requires a close working relationship with Engineering Personnel to develop print media, web content, and a cohesive sales and marketing strategy.

Background and Skill Requirements

* Experience in strategic planning and execution
* Experience in setting and achieving sales quota goals and revenue objectives
* Significant non-destructive test sales background and experience with industry knowledge and
contacts in the automotive and aerospace sectors as well as other industrial sectors
* Experience in planning and executing marketing strategies and promotional campaigns
* Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead
* Bachelors degree or equivalent, preferably in the physical sciences or equivalent technical marketing
experience

Skills:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

* Establishing, direct, and coordinating the company's sales and marketing functions
* Analyze the current marketing plans, improve the sales process, and improve marketing confidence
* Analyze the pricing structure compared to the industry at large
* Develop, implement, and manage an effective international sales and marketing group
* Establish and implement one year and three year sales and marketing goals and objectives
* Manage the planning and development of marketing and communications materials
* Work with peers to develop three and five year business plans
* Establish and implement departmental goals, objectives, and procedures
