Overview:
Acuren Canada Prairies Region requires certified Level 2 NDT technicians to support Outage, Shutdown and call out throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan. Candidates must be Level 2 certified in ultrasonic, radiographic, eddy current, magnetic particle or liquid penetrant inspection methods. The technician must be able to handle a diverse work load. Out of town work and the ability for frequent travel and shift work is required; with LOA and guaranteed hours for the duration of the outage work. At this time Acuren will only consider candidates from Canada, USA and the UK.

Primary responsibilities include:
„X Conduct hazard assessments prior to beginning work and follow safe work procedures
„X Ensure we provide clients with quality services in a timely manner
„X Conduct inspections and write reports for clients
„X Follow regulatory requirements; work to codes, procedures and techniques
„X Direct the work of subordinates as required
„X Be responsible for the custody, care and correct use of valuable technical equipment, tools, machinery, publications, materials, job items, vehicles and other assets
„X Ensure that the appropriate paperwork (such as reporting forms and timesheets) is used to facilitate normal business functions
„X Respect the privileged nature of all inspection results, client reports, drawings, rate sheets and any other such confidential documentation

What you will bring:
„X Level 2 RT, UT, EC, MT, or PT
„X Preference will be given to Shearwave, TOFD and PAUT experience
„X Strong technical background in NDT methods and procedures
„X Understanding of the NDE Industry, industrial environment, or client business an asset
„X Computer proficiency
„X Excellent time & project management, interpersonal and communication skills
„X Ability/flexibility to travel
