We have immediate needs for Level II UT Technicians with our clients location in Wisconsin. These are full time permanent opportunities. Great starting rate with Excellent Benefits package.
The function of the NDT LeveL II UT will be to inspect the quality of welded joins in metallic materials. This position is a key element for serving our clients customer base.
Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1 - Set up and calibrate NDT Equipment
2 - Conduct inspection to ensure quality, detect discontinuites using ultrasonic equipment.
3 - Accurate process of paperwork and test results
4 - Verification of product to specs
5 - Maintenance of inspection tools and equipment
6 - Ability to accurately use all measuring devices
7 - Ability to read blueprints and have an understanding of lean manufacturing practices and cost effectiveness
8 - Review and stay abreast with NDT requierments and updates
9 - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and written
10- Responsible for all aspecs of NDT related records.

Skills:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or Equivalent
- Completion of 40 hour accredited Ultrasound Inspection Level I and Level II course.
- On the job training experience equivalent to 1600 hours that is diredtly related to the duties and responsibilities specified in SNT-TC-1A
- Additional education in quality related courses and problem solving techniques is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point, and can effectively use email.
- Knowledge in AWS D1.1 CODE and EN1714 a plus.
