We are looking for a Regional Account Executive. This individual will be a highly
skilled, professional imaging salesperson and technical resource whose essential
and primary responsibility is to generate and grow profitable sales within our
clinical and industrial markets. Target markets include imaging applications in
Pathology, Ophthalmic Microsurgery, Biomedical Research and Industrial Remote
Visual Inspection. The ideal candidate will have outstanding presentation,
negotiation and support skills of the company’s imaging solutions while
simultaneously providing superior customer service. This individual must have a
passion for digital imaging and a strong understanding of how multi-media
information and technology benefits our customers business and ROI.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform effective territory management that develops new opportunities &
customer prospects, while maintaining existing business, and providing yearly
growth in direct sales of company products.
• Demonstrate improving levels of selling skills, product knowledge, and
territory management by meeting or exceeding individual monthly/annual sales
quota by performing the following:
o Call and personally qualify all end-user sales leads to assess their needs
and purchasing intent of our products,
o Schedule and attend 3-5 product evaluations per week with qualified
customers.
o Present Optronics and KS Industrial Group(s) related products to
appropriate end-user decision makers including physicians, medical staff,
marketing, engineering, purchasing and C-Suite executives
o Focus on precision & accuracy in the sales process
o Follow up on all product evaluations to ensure the purchase of our
products,
o Develop key end-user customer database in ACT for use as 3rd party
testimonials and marketing related activities,
o Schedule and attend dealer/VAR or OEM training and sales meetings on a
yearly basis of one time/year or more to train representatives to perform
effective evaluations and present our products in the appropriate manner on
their own to drive additional sales in addition to direct sales efforts.
o Assist Accounts Receivable when necessary.
• On a continual basis maintain and update territory records of all Optronics
and KS Industrial Group(s) customers and contacts in the company database
which shall remain the property of Optronics and KS Industrial Group(s).
• Maintain on office system of training material, product information, sales
and territory records and other pertinent materials that shall remain the property
of Optronics and KS Industrial Group(s).
• Maintain territory product inventory at the appropriate level and in the best
condition to present to customers for evaluation and be responsible for all
documentation regarding the sale, transfer, or return of these materials.
• Complete all administrative reports that may be required by management in
an accurate and timely manner including call reports, expense reports and
monthly reports.
• Attend training courses, meetings, seminars, trade shows, conference calls
and other company functions, prepared and ready to actively contribute as
required by management.
• Effectively utilize and manage the territory expense budget in a responsible
and cost effective manner.
• Be available to arrange and make frequent trips with overnight stays to
meet with customers.

Required Skills and Experience:

• College degree in a related field.
• 1-2 years of previous successful selling experience with capital equipment
(preferably imaging related) directly to end-users and indirectly through
distributor channels
• Have superior field sales skills to manage multiple priorities with a diverse
customer base.
• Have familiarity and working knowledge of digital imaging systems that
includes and is not limited to optics, digital cameras, image and video files,
software, and image processing applications.
• Have strong listening and superior ability to close profitable sales.
• Have the ability to work with little supervision. Overnight travel within
territory: 70%.
• Must live (or be willing to self-relocate) in any state from Massachusetts to
North Carolina and be within commuting distance of a major airport.
