POSITION SUMMARY: The RBI Specialist will possess strong refining or petrochemical plant industry experience in inspection, systemization/circuitization and Risk Based Inspection (RBI) to join our Asset Integrity Management Services division in Houston, Texas. Duties for this position will include performing the following: - Risk Based Inspection (RBI) services - Unit systemization/circuitization - Equipment Data Collection - Inspection grading and client relations.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

• Provide guidance and input regarding PCMS RBI calculator output.
• Client communication during all phases of implementation.
• Systemize/Circuitize client provided P&ID’s and PFD’s
• Create and or modify client data to allow for accurate:

o Damage Mechanisms
o PoF values
o CoF values
o Inspection Plans

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the inspection of pressure retaining equipment in the petrochemical industry
• Current and valid API 510 and 570
• Experience working in and managing projects in accordance with common RBI methodologies
• Experience in IDMS implementation and usage
• Must be knowledgeable in plant engineering and equipment data (specifications, equipment/piping drawings, vendor data packages, engineering/construction terminology)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent computer skills, must be familiar with Microsoft Office, maintenance/engineering software
• Experience creating project status reports
• Knowledge of API 571, 579, 580, 581, 650 and 653 is a plus - B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Metallurgy is a plus.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

• Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
• 20% Travel to client locations
