Sr. API – Mechanical Engineer: RBI, API 580

JOB DUTIES: Senior RBI Engineer will be called upon to lead and manage all activities related to the development, planning and implementation of RBI programs

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the development Risk Based Inspection (RBI) strategy of process piping, pressure vessel and PSV to ensure the integrity of the equipment is always maintained in a cost effective manner.
• To develop, specify and review strategies for inspecting critical static equipment and facilities as well as manage a database to measure, monitor and analyze pertinent parameters.
• Leading, supervising, reviewing and/or approving projects tasks related to asset integrity management services (including RBI), within field of engineering competence and experience.
• Technical and business input to tenders and proposals concerning asset integrity management (including RBI).
• Supervision and mentoring of young engineers in asset integrity management (AIM) department, which includes technical and personal development.
• Maintain professional engineering standards in all activities. Ensure safety, environmental protection and statutory requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATES AND LICENCES:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 5-10+ years’ relevant experience in oil & gas industry.
• Able to lead and organize all activities related to the project and work independently as well with little supervision.
• Able to robustly analyze and present complex solutions and ideas.
• Proven experience in RBI assessment, analysis and implementation. Familiar with RBI methodologies especially API RBI 580/581.
• Certification in API580 /API510/API570/API653 preferable.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with good command of English.
• Highly motivated, disciplined, result-oriented and excellent team player.
• NDT training certificates are preferable
• Good knowledge of NDE techniques, advanced NDE methods
• Current Driver’s License from state of residence.
• Must be able to travel out of town 50% or more of the time and work various shifts.
• Ability to meet company certification standards.
• Drug and alcohol screens performed randomly.

SHIFT/HOURS: Shifts & Hours will vary – Must be flexible to work overtime – Travel required 50% to 75% of time
