Summary:
Level II NDT Inspector must be proficient and experienced in the following methods: Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic, Eddy Current, and Fluorescent Penetrant.
Skills:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will be proficient in setting up and calibrating equipment, reading and interpreting indications and evaluating them with reference to applicable standards and specifications. We are looking for someone familiar with the scope and limitation of the method and who can apply detailed techniques to products or parts within their limit of qualifications.

The applicant should be able to organize and report test results. He or she should know practical theory and be familiar with and be able to use manuals and source books for assistance in utilizing techniques. The Level II inspector must be familiar with the type and location of expected defects for the fabrication process used to make the products and parts.

Ensures compliance to all radiation safety rules and regulations and provides protection to self and others during testing.

Maintain inventory control of area equipment.

Coordinate NDT inspection workload according to priorities, efficiency and cost effectiveness.

The successful applicant must have excellent technical and communication skills and be adept at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Computer proficiency is a must.

Education and/or Experience:
We are seeking a person with a minimum of 2 years prior NDT experience. Applicants must have or be able to obtain and NDT inspector vision certification prior to employment.
