POSITION SUMMARY: The operations coordinator is responsible for coordinating NDE requests, coordinating personnel, scheduling work, providing project estimates, monitoring project billing, and interfacing with customers for refinery and call-out work. Additionally, the operations coordinator will ensure all NDE equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and provided for all required work. The coordinator will work daily with the operations manager, quality manager, and refinery project manager to ensure work is coordinated and executed in a timely and quality manner. The desired candidate has refinery NDE experience, excellent customer relations skills, is proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs, and can excel in a fast-paced and quickly changing work environment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

• Receive NDE requests from refinery or call-out customers, provide project estimates, coordinate personnel, coordinate equipment, schedule personnel, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain online schedule, quote log, and job log.
• Monitor project billing to ensure it is accurate and in accordance with project estimates. Request purchase order increases, if necessary.
• Coordinate work permits with refinery project manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in NDE. Refinery NDE experience is preferred.
• High school diploma. College coursework preferred.
• Prior experience working in a customer-focused services business.
• Strong PC aptitude and skills, including intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and Google Docs.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational skills; must be able to multi-task, handle multiple priorities and changes in priorities with professional demeanor.
• Must be able to pro-actively problem solve.
• Must be able to keep up in a fast-paced, "TEAM" environment.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to communicate well in field, office, and accounting situations.
• 25% travel required. Daily travel to customer jobsite in Colorado likely.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

• Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.
