ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS(Responsibilities):
The Advanced UT Level II NDT Technician is responsible for on-site inspection for the customer. The goal of the Sr. Technician is Operation Excellence and Technical Quality. This position is part of the Delivery Process and is expected to lead other NDE technicians and project personnel in providing the primary service of inspection performance to the Client. This role includes delivery of services on time, safely, and with the highest quality possible. Where qualified the position supports training, technique development, and delivery of specialized services utilizing automated and computerized inspection systems. Inspections will be performed in multiple industries including petrochemical, refineries, power plants, pipelines and wind farms around the world.
Skills:
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE WELL DOCUMENTED CERTIFIABLE UT EXPERIENCE HOURS.
Minimum Requirements:
7-10 years NDT experience
In addition to UT Level II Certification candidate must have hours to support Level II Certs in 2 or more of the following disciplines: (PAUT, PT, MT, ET)
DESIRED: Minimum of an AA / AS in any of the following disciplines:
Non-Destructive Testing
Electrical Technology
Mechanical Engineering Technology,
Electrical Technology,
Plant Utilities Technology,
Engineering General
Electrical Technology
Science Technologies
Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Technologies
Candidate must be willing to travel globally on short notice and for extended periods (up to 6 weeks). This includes weekends and holidays. Long work days are typical, as are off shift schedules.
Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to navigate on the internet.
You must be able to demonstrate your abilities through successful completion of formal training, OJT, and examination.
You must be a self-starter who can work with minimal direction, alone or as part of a small team.
You must be able to read and interpret schematic diagrams and engineering drawings.
You should enjoy and desire being in a hands-on environment utilizing cutting-edge technology and tooling.
You must have a valid US Drivers license
Current US Work authorization
Current US Passport or ability to obtain one
