Requirements
VSC is looking for a qualified candidate to provide Welding Inspection support as it pertains to Quality Assurance. This project has a workload of 20-40 hours per week on a 3 month contract basis in Milwaukee, WI.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience in quality position
• Must have ANST Level II Visual Test Inspector certified in accordance with the requirements of references T9074-AS-GIB-010/271 and ASNT -TC-1A.
• Competent technical expertise and application domain knowledge
• Ability to understand military specifications and to read blue prints
• Experience operating in an organization with government quality oversight, preferably with DCMA or DCAA. Automotive experience also acceptable.
• Must have a home computer with internet and e-mail access as well as a working cell phone
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be comfortable working as an Independent Contractor
