Summary: Responsible for managing the site quality assurance program and various field issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

• Manage AZCO’s QA/QC program for a specific site.
• Communicate with the customer’s site QA/QC personnel and relate any specification or contract criteria to AZCO’s site superintendent and project manager.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining AZCO weld maps and travelers.
• Responsible for ensuring required inspections are being completed in a timely manner.
• Assist in scheduling NDE, PWHT and AI visits.
• Responsible for ensuring all QA/QC records up to date for audit purposes.
• Create turnover packages of required QA/QC documentation.
• Correspond with the jurisdiction inspectors or Authorized Inspector when necessary.
• Manage, direct, and assist inspection personnel, and assure inspections are being completed in a timely manner.
• Assist the project coordinator in preparing turn-over packages for customer submittal.
• Ability to travel or relocate to undetermined sites for undetermined durations.


Oversee the quality process at assigned jobsite and assist in the supervision of onsite QA/QC employees to ensure AZCO quality program and jobsite regulations are being followed and met.
Skills:
Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four year college or university desired; and at least three years related experience and/or training; or at least five years combination of education and experience.

Current AWS SCWI or CWI certification required.
Previous or current SCWI/CWI.
Previous or current MT and PT certifications.
Familiarity and understanding of RT, PMI, and hardness testing.
