RCS has a direct hire opportunity for a Level I or II NDE Technician with Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. (SI) in State College, PA. RCS is SI's exclusive recruitment partner, providing all recruitment efforts to assist in the company's strategic growth efforts. Summary: NDE Technician to support SI's continued growth and expansion into the power generation industry and other energy markets. The current position is available for full time employment as a Level I or II Technician, depending on experience and qualifications.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Support the examination of gas pipelines, and piping systems at nuclear and fossil power generation facilities located throughout the US.
-When not working on field assignments, candidates will report to the State College, PA office. SI's State College office is currently staffed with Engineers working on a variety of NDE development projects, including software and hardware design. Emphasis will be on learning the theory and application of advanced ultrasonic techniques, such as long range guided wave testing.

Requirements:
- Authorization to work in the US without restriction.
- Must have completed a minimum of 40-hours training in Ultrasonic Testing, with verifiable/documented experience sufficient to obtain Level I certification.
- Strong MS Office skills (computer proficiency), specifically in Word and Excel.

- Ability to travel for field-based projects at various customer locations requiring overnight travel. Travel is anticipated at greater than 50% and is generally five days or less in duration (Mon-Fri).
- Background checks and medical screening are a prerequisite for employment. Access to some customers' facilities may require additional background and medical screening for security clearance and site access.
- Individuals should be willing to conduct assignments in environments with less than favorable conditions including physically challenging conditions (heat, cold or physical activities such as climbing or carrying equipment).
- Ability to maintain focus in hazardous industrial environs such as at heights, on scaffolds and picks, noisy locations, with operating machinery nearby or overhead and with dangerous activities occurring nearby (welding, grinding, flame cutting, overhead loads, etc.).

Preferred:
- Experience and/or training in welding processes and inspection techniques.
- Experience with other NDE technologies/inspection methods (MT, PE or ET).
- Local candidates.

Travel: Travel is anticipated at greater than 50% and is generally five days or less in duration (Mon-Fri).
