We are searching for a Quality Manager to manage the quality team, systems, customer requirements and new product launches. The Quality Manager provides direction and mentorship to quality engineers, quality leaders, gauge calibration, technicians and area quality technicians. This position ensures product quality is attained through fulfillment of standards and quality program requirements. The quality manager develops, implements, maintains and continuously improves the ISO-9001 and TS-16949 quality management system. The Quality Manager is the management representative for the quality system, coordinating third party and surveillance audits. This position interacts with suppliers customers and internal associates at all levels. The Quality Manager leads cross functional teams to resolve quality issues using a wide variety of problem solving tools. Responsibilities also include managing the quality budget, ensure quality documents, records, systems and process changes. The Quality Manager will oversee APQP requirements including FMEA, PPAP, control plans, process flow diagrams, work instructions and corrective actions. Strong leadership, communication, documentation, planning and problem solving skills are required.

Interested candidates will need direct high volume automotive manufacturing experience and 5 years of quality management experience. Quality, lean manufacturing and six sigma certifications is a plus. Exposure to high volume stamping, machining, metal forming, forging, or other metal manufacturing processes is preferred.

MUST HAVE: 5 years of quality management, strong leadership, knowledge of TS-16949, high volume automotive, metals manufacturing process exposure, continuous improvement, project management and strong problem solving skills. A 4 year degree and quality certifications is preferred.
