Krazan & Associates is looking for a Professional Engineer to be a part of our Geotechnical team in our Pleasanton, California office.

Candidate will oversee materials testing and construction inspection projects within their region. Field assignments may include: attending preconstruction meetings, overseeing laboratory testing, construction monitoring of foundation construction and earthwork as well as performing other special inspections. Office work may include: overseeing financial operations, reviewing daily field reports, managing inspection staff.

Duties: • Responsible for daily and monthly operations of department with assistance from Division Manager • Coordinate testing & inspection projects • Prepare proposals • Technical review • Client management • Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures • Oversee multiple tasks, projects and assignments • May supervise work of other professionals and technical support personnel • Candidate must have the ability to interface with all levels of management, staff and clients • Excellent communication and follow through skills a must

BS/MS in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering • PE registration in CA • 5+ years geotechnical experience • Excellent communication and organizational skills
