Quality Assurance Supervisor (Mayport Facility) Jacksonville, FL
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Supervisor / NDT Inspector Level III with knowledge of NAVSEA and preferably with Shipyard Experience. Requires a minimum of 6 years of experience as NDT Level II VT/PT/MT/UT (Level III experience preferred).
This is a full-time, regular position. No per diem. Must be a US Citizen and be able to update a RapidGate for Naval Base access.

Responsible for BAE Mayport NDT Operations and over sight of the Welding/Brazing Program. Develops, revises, reviews, and/or approves NDT Procedures for Written Practice, VT/PT/MT/UT. Interprets specifications, standards, and procedures used for production. Develops, revises, and conducts training and certifications for NDT Inspectors, welders, and brazers. Conducts annual and periodic evaluations of NDT Level I and II personnel. In addition to the Level III responsibilities, will provide support to the Quality Manger in areas for NDT, Welding, and Quality Assurance.

Skills:
• Must meet the requirement of ASNT TC-1A for NDT Level III Certifications.
• Must have knowledge of the NAVSEA Standard Item.
• Must have knowledge of and experience using NAVSEA TECH PUBs 271, 278, and 248, and MIL STDs 1689, 2035, and 22D.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as NDT Level II in each method.
