Acuren Inspection is currently recruiting to fill the permanent full time position of Radiation Safety Officer (RSO).
This position is based out of the Denver, CO division.

Internal job code # 3085

The position will maintain an effective radiation safety program that complies with regulatory and company protocols. This position will report to the Division Manager of the location.


Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform maintenance of radiographic equipment
Transfer and dispose of all radiographic sources
Manage the shipping and receiving of radioactive sources
Assist RSO in performing inspections as required to ensure compliance Assist RSO with any other duties as required

What you will bring:
Must have proper education or experiences with radiation regulatory protocols in a NDT industry.
Knowledge of exposure equipment.
Superior attention to detail.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Excellent knowledge of safety regulations and codes.
Ability to work with minimal supervision as a part of a team.
A strong commitment to radiation safety.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook and Internet.
Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, analytical and organizational skills.
