Due to growth we are searching for a Business Unit
Manager to lead, guide, plan and direct a manufacturing
product group. This position requires product launch,
continuous improvement, leadership, project management,
customer contact and experience in a high volume
machining or assembly environment. Candidates with a
basic understanding of production metal turning, dial /
rotary transfer machining, swiss CNC turning, milling,
grinding, broaching and/or automated assembly of machine
components is needed. The Business Unit Manager will have
direct customer contact, kick off product launches,
oversee APQP requirements, coordinate departments, plan
and interact with production scheduling. This position
requires budget development, P&L, cost improvements and
capital approval experience. Past experience implementing
Lean, Six Sigma, 5-S and continuous improvement
activities. The Business Unit Manager will manage
production machining, assembly, manufacturing
engineering, quality, maintenance associates. Knowledge
of TS-16949 systems and automotive requirements is a
must. Strong follow up, communication and interaction
with sales, business development, strategic planning and
executive management is needed.

MUST HAVE: a Bachelors degree, 5 plus years of operations
management, basic knowledge of machining or assembly,
APQP, financials, planning and continuous improvement
implantation. Experience in a high volume manufacturing
environment is a must.
