As a Coast to Coast technician, you will be responsible
for conducting direct examinations on interstate
pipelines using various NDT methods. Daily tasks can
include corrosion mapping, ultrasonic thickness testing,
magnetic particle testing, shearwave ultrasound, phased
array ultrasound, and additional other advanced
ultrasonics. You will work directly with the clients and
will have varying schedules. Must be independently
motivated. We are looking for loyal confident individuals
that are career oriented.
Perform inspections of existing pipeline coatings and
condition, documenting coating anomalies. Perform testing
pertaining to Cathodic Protection. Perform visual
inspections of pipeline, measuring and documenting metal
loss type defects. Perform MT evaluations, evaluate and
document any linear indications, conduct integrity
calculations, and document and validate repairs.
Documenting and reporting are equally as important as the
inspection itself.
Skills:
EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS DESIRED:
• NDE MT Level II & UT Level II Thickness (minimum & must
be able to confirm hours)
• UT Level II Shearwave capable (Preferred)
• J. Mark Davis PAUT Courses (Desired)
• Associates Degree in NDE (Preferred)
• NACE CP or CIP certifications (Preferred)
