Twin Ports Testing (TPT) is looking for a Full time Level III NDT Technician. For over four decades, TPT has provided quality inspection, consulting, and testing services to clients throughout the Upper Midwest, and regions beyond.

The Level III Technician is responsible for establishing and modifying techniques and procedures, interpreting codes, standards, specifications and procedures and designating the particular non-destructive testing methods, techniques and procedures to be used.

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

The Level III Tech is responsible for the non-destructive testing operations for which qualified and assigned and will be capable of interpreting and evaluating results in terms of existing codes, standards and specifications.

The Level III Tech shall have sufficient practical background in applicable measures:

• Fabrication and product technology to establish techniques and to assist in establishing acceptance criteria when none are otherwise available.
• Familiarity with other appropriate non-destructive testing methods, as demonstrated by ASNT Level III Basic examination or other means.
• Methods in which certified should be capable of training and examining Level I and Level II personnel for certification in those methods.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• ASNT tested in UT and/or RT
• Detail-oriented, self-directed, and a solid strategic thinker
• Team-player
• Well organized with exceptional follow-through skills
• Solid ability to dig into information and situations
• Must have reasonable computer skills
• Excellent social skills and presence
• Ability to lift Minimum 70 pounds
• Availability to work any hours of a week to fulfill duties
• Ability to traverse (by foot) various conditions of terrain

Education;

Completion of two years (minimum) of engineering or science study in a university, college or technical school.

Professional Experience:

Minimum of four years of experience in the field non-destructive testing, in an assignment at least comparable to that of a Level II Tech.
