Position Summary
Acuren is currently looking for hard working and 
dependable individual as an NDT Assistant
The position would be an Assistant Inspector position at 
a Customer site.,out of our Tinley Park Illinois office.

The NDT Assistant will assist NDT Technicians in 
performing specific calibrations, specific Nondestructive 
Tests, and specific evaluations for acceptance or 
rejection determinations. 
The NDT Assistant will receive both on the job and class 
room training and development to further their career as 
an NDT Technician.
Responsibilities
Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment
Assist NDT Technicians in the calibration of NDT 
equipment
Assist NDT Technicians conduct tests to ensure quality or 
detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of 
inspection
Record results of inspections
Assist Technicians in performing NDT procedures and other 
operations
Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Some college preferred
Technical background desired
Entry level
