Description

The selected candidate will perform quality engineering and
program quality related activities using their skills and
knowledge in engineering and program management. The
selected candidate shall be proficient in the use and
application of technical and management standards,
principles, theories, concepts, techniques and provide
innovative solutions to assigned tasks/projects. The
selected candidate shall have a complete understanding,
strong in-depth knowledge in a variety of Non-Destructive
Inspection (NDI), Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation in
all disciplines, concepts and applications. The selected
candidate will be responsible for developing, documenting
and validation of NDI techniques for the Global Hawk
platform during Initial, Depot or Drop In Maintenance and
identify technical solutions to a wide range of complex
problems for improvement and opportunities. The selected
candidate will work closely with program engineering and
other Program disciplines to perform and support day to day
program activities. This individual must be able to work
independently to determine and develop solutions. The
candidate will support the Level II technicians in the
performance and maintenance of NDI inspection activities.
The selected candidate will develop and assess unique
program quality processes and provide evaluation of other
program processes and products assuring they are developed
in accordance with customer contractual requirements,
internal processes and AS9100; perform contract review to
identify and implement unique quality requirements and
participate in program IPT activities. Travel is required.
The selected candidate will be required to prepare, maintain
and review procurement/contractual documents (Statements of
Work, Specifications, Quality Plans, etc.) to ensure
compliance to customer/government contractual requirements
related to NDI. It is preferred the candidate be familiar
with all aspects of the program life cycle with emphasis on
sustainment. The selected candidate will require strong
written/verbal communication skills and be proficient with
and in a Microsoft Office Program environment
Skills:
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: Must currently hold a Level III
certification in Ultrasonic
- 6 Years of related experience with AS degree
- Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
- Strong background in NDI and its applications are required
and prior Level II certification in NDI disciplines and
applications with aircraft structure is preferred
- Strong knowledge of NAS-410


Preferred Qualifications:
- Level III in Penetrant & Eddy Current
- Prior or Active NDT Certifications (ASBT)
