Hot Section Technologies (HST) is accepting resumes for a
qualified SNT-TC-1a or NAS410 NDT Level II PT inspector in
Santa Paula, California. Must have a minimum of two years
documented experience. This position is part-time and open
for immediate hire.

Please note that this position is in Oxnard, California and
that no monetary relocation assistance will be provided.

HST is an FAA and EASA approved Part-145 maintenance
organization and repairs a wide range of parts from power
plant manufacturers such as Honeywell Aerospace, General
Electric, Pratt & Whitney, and Rolls Royce; along with
airframe manufacturers such as ATR, Bombardier, BAe Systems,
Embraer, Fairchild, Fokker, Piper, and SAAB.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum of 210 hours of experience as a Level II liquid
penetrant inspector.
2. Previous experience properly documented from a previous
employer.
3. Must acquire and maintain nondestructive testing
certification by passing required certification written and
practical examinations in accordance with SNT-TC-1a or
NAS410.
4. Knowledge of all department equipment and operations.
Skills:
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintain the FPI line in accordance with company
procedures and work instructions.
2. Perform daily FPI system checks and documents the
results.
3. Perform daily FPI inspection of parts.
4. Perform FPI of material per the appropriate work
instructions and product manuals.
5. Maintain a daily FPI log of all parts processed.
6. Prepares solution and process parts through necessary
solutions for FPI operation.
7. Cleans, applies penetrant solution, washes, develops,
dries and other preparatory operations.
8. Complies with standard procedure for checks on equipment
and fluids.
9. Maintains all required processing records in specified
form and detail.
10. Performs processing setup, makes changes or addition of
solutions under instruction of supervisor or designate.
11. Complies with written or verbal instructions from
Supervisor or designated representative.
12. Performs a variety of other tasks of equal or less
complexity as assigned by Supervisor or Level III.
14. Detect and report improper operation and unusual
conditions to proper supervision.
15. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly
condition and follow all safety rules.
16. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and
communicating in a manner that gets along with customers,
co-workers, and supervisors.
17. All candidates must pass a visual acuity exam, must pay
close attention to detail, have good hand/eye coordination,
possess strong safety orientation, demonstrate strong
communication and interpersonal skills as well as possess a
positive attitude and have a strong work ethic.
18. All candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and
random ongoing on-the-job drug and alcohol testing.
19. Perform other duties that may be assigned.
