TVI Inspector on the Alaskan North Slope

We are currently accepting resumes for a TVI Inspector:

POSITION SUMMARY: The TVI Inspector is responsible for
the inspection of vessels and/or storage tanks as
assigned by the TVI Coordinator. They perform and/or
oversee UT, AUT, or other NDE methods that would be
required for determining the suitability for service of
the vessels and storage tanks.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

• Perform UT, AUT, and other NDE vessel
inspections.
• Perform API 653 tank inspections.
• Complete Vessel/Tank Inspection reports.
• Perform QA/QC of repairs as required.
• Coordinate efforts with client and contractors as
required.
• Liaison with clients’ CIC Tanks and Vessels
Inspectors.
• Flawless adherence to company and client
procedures and policies.
• Flawless demonstration of Company’s HSSE
policies.
• Ensure compliance to applicable codes and
standards.
• Immediately report equipment malfunctions/damage
to supervisor and/or MTE.
• Maintain individual certifications.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• NDE Level II in UTT, MT, PT, VT
• API 653 and/or API 510
• Preference given to those holding AUT, full UT II
unlimited, PAUT/TOFD, CWI, rope access certifications
• Proficiency in vessel/tank inspection report
generation
• Should have a strong NDE background with an
understanding of inspection methods and techniques for
tanks and vessels.
• Should possess strong skills using Microsoft
Office Suite with emphasis on Excel.
• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or
equivalent.
• Individual must be a self-starter, with strong
work ethics.
• Valid driver’s license
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Frequent lifting up to 70 lbs.
We are seeking candidates that are willing to make a
minimum 1-2 year commitment. This is a FULLTIME position
with benefits. We are not seeking short term contractors.
You are responsible for travel costs to and from
Anchorage or Fairbanks, AK. This job description
