A global division of a large corporation continues to
grow by sales and acquisition. This division expanded
into 2 new facilities and procured 2 competitors within
the last 24 months. This company employs over 3,000
valued team members. They offer low cost healthcare

career advancement. This division will provide
relocation assistance to new employees moving to their
area. This is a very successful division well into their
lean journey. They have continued to invest in new
capital equipment, automation and software. This
manufacturing operation produces high precision fuel
system, breaking and powertrain components to the
automotive industry. They have late model state of the
art CNC machines, robotics, automation and measuring
equipment. Our firm has worked with this division for
over 20 years making many successful placements. They
have many long term employees with over 20 years with the
company.

We are searching for a Quality Engineer with a minimum of
3 years of experience working in a TS-16949 certified
environment. Our client will consider degreed Quality
Engineers or 7 years of equivalent experience.
Candidates with certifications in quality engineering
and/or Lean / Six Sigma are preferred. The Quality
Engineer will need experience in systems, product launch,
gauging, metrology, auditing, SPC, continuous
improvement, customer contact and problem solving.
Previous experience preparing PFMEA, PPAP, control plans,
process flow diagrams, work instructions and APQP
required documents is a must. Quality Engineer
candidates will need strong communication, computer,
interpersonal skills and the ability to lead others.
Past experience conducting gauge R&R and capability
studies is a plus. The Quality Engineer will need
experience auditing, writing procedures, processes,
maintaining and improving their TS-16949 / ISO-9000
quality management system. Knowledge of metrology,
gauging, measuring tools and good Gd&T skills are a must.
Quality Engineers with experience launching new programs
are preferred. Strong problem solving skills using
statistical data, root cause analysis, parado charts,
fishbone diagrams, and advanced methodologies are
preferred. The Quality Engineer will prepare and close
out corrective action using 8-D and 5 Why formats.

MUST HAVE: 3 years of quality engineering and a degree
or 7 years of equivalent experience. Candidates will
need knowledge of APQP, FMEA, PPAP, gauge R&R, control
plans, 8-D, 5Why, SPC and TS-16949. Candidates with
strong gauging, metrology and experience working in a
machining environment are preferred. Lean and Six Sigma
certifications or equivalent experience is a plus.
Evident Ultrasonic Inspection Equipment
