We are searching for technical candidates with the
experience processing, tooling, programming and
troubleshooting swiss CNC lathes and multi axis CNC
machines. This position requires hands on engineers or
highly skilled machinist / programmers. Our client will
consider degreed Manufacturing Engineers, Process
Engineers, CNC Programmer or highly skilled Machinist /
Programmer with swiss lathe processing experience. The
focus of this position is to develop the most cost
effective and efficient process. Experience reading
prints, selecting the proper swiss lathe, calculating
cycle times, developing tooling packages, specifying
guide bushing, collets, creating CNC programs, writing
work instructions and troubleshooting processes is
needed. The ideal candidate will have the ability to set
up developing samples and prototypes. Candidates with
Citizen swiss lathes are preferred. We will consider
candidates with Star, Tsugami, Hanwha, Nomura, Tornos
Deco and/or other swiss lathe brands. Programming
experience using cam software such as Partmaker or Esprit
is preferred. Past experience improving operating
performance to reduce waste delays, cost, cycle times,
and/or set up times is a plus. Good troubleshooting
skills with the ability to diagnose machine alarms,
malfunctions, CNC programs, set up issues and quality
concerns is preferred. Good written communication and
interpersonal skills are required. Past experience
coordinating multiple projects to develop and launch new
products is needed.

MUST HAVE: 5 years of experience processing,
programming, tooling, setting up, improving and
troubleshooting swiss type CNC lathes. Knowledge of
Citizen swiss lathes is a plus. Past experience using
cam software such as Partmaker or Esprit is preferred.
We will consider candidates with a technical Bachelors
degree, Associates degree and/or equivalent experience.
