JOB TITLE: Operations Manager LOCATION: Augusta, GA Division MANAGER: Regional Manager DIRECT REPORTS: Minimum of ten (10) personnel EMPLOYMENT STATUS: 1 Full-time Regular 0 Part-time POSITION SUMMARY The position will assume responsibility for all of operations; scheduling; managing of employees; customer services for clients; budgeting and quoting; quality and safety compliance for the Augusta Ga division. RESPONSIBILITIES  Project Supervising- Supervise projects, complete job costing (CWR), interface with customers.  Project Planning- Coordinate and plan all projects. Complete pre-job packet. Verify proper work scope and Purchase Orders are in place with applicable procedures (or at least an Inspection and Test plan) made known to the crew. Work with Safety Manager to complete Pre-job Assessment for each project. Coordinate all project logistics including travel, lodging, airfare, etc.  Maintain Project Schedule and attend weekly manning/scheduling calls to effectively coordinate the loaning out of personnel and the borrowing of resources as needed.  Properly equip projects with personnel and equipment. Use Purchase Orders to effectively keep costs well documented and placed in their proper month.  Day-to–day scheduling of inspection personnel on call-out work.  Communicate all Service Calls to Office Manager. Maintain Job Log.  Work with Office Manager to ensure accuracy of billing. Verify all hours worked and charged to customer match payroll.  Work with QA/QC Manager to ensure personnel are properly certified for the assignment at hand.  Customer Satisfaction-follow -up routinely to ensure client is pleased with the service provided.  Handle customer e-mails and phone calls in a professional manner to ensure their satisfaction.  Submit quotations to customers as needed.  Career Path Development of Field Personnel including annual reviews. Ensure employees maintain a professional appearance. Document any personnel issue that may lead to disciplinary action. Treat all employees with honesty and fairness.  Maintain appearance and operability of office and all assets including rolling stock.
