Due to company growth we are looking for a proven NDT Leader to join a robust team of production managers as we forge the next chapter for our organization. This is a plant manager level role with multi-shift responsibility and authority.

Timing is right, as we will be cutting the ribbon on our brand new NDT building expansion with almost 5,000 square-feet of new booth space and equipment!

SUMMARY:
The NDT Manager will provide guidance and direction to NDT Supervisors to ensure daily performance objectives are being met or exceeded. This individual will establish group and individual accountabilities throughout the NDT department and encourage the use of new techniques for process improvements and fact- based problem solving that drive an increase in process efficiencies and throughput, product quality, and improved profitability. The NDT Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and controlling production throughout the NDT department to ensure that parts are inspected efficiently, on time, and follow industry standards, standard practice manual specifications and company procedures. The NDT Manager will exercise the privileges of company certifications to oversee the preparation, processing, and inspection of parts in various stages of repair using nondestructive testing methods. Methods include fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI), magnetic particle inspection (MPI), pressure test inspection (PT), digital radiographic inspection (RT), ultrasonic inspection (UT) and eddy current inspection (ECT).

Skills:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum three (3) years of supervisory / managerial experience.
Meet the minimum ASNT qualifications for Level III in at least one of the following NDT methods; FPI, MPI, RT, UT, or ECT.
Five to seven years’ experience as a Level II in at least one of the NDT methods listed above.
Strong organizational, communication and change management skills.
Proven experience positively motivating and developing employees.
Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems.
High School diploma or GED Required
Pass vision tests required to meet minimum standards for qualification, including color perception and near vision
