Currently looking for a skilled sales professional in the Chicago, IL area to fill an opening for a Technical Sales Representative with local and international reach. Interested candidates must have a proven sales track record and a mechanical or engineering background.
Responsibilities
Be the driving force behind company growth by directly
increasing revenue through self-generated sales
Manage prospects and clients throughout the entire
sales cycle
Meet defined sales goals and expectations
Learn the company products, services, business ethics,
policies, procedures, role and responsibilities of the
position to a point of confidence, competence and
effectiveness
Develop sales goals and pipeline reporting for the
organization to include estimated timeline and close
probability
Foster healthy, professional relationships with key
personnel at prospective and existing customer
companies
Participate in industry associations and remain current
on industry trends, market activities and competitors
Travel to meet with prospects and clients and to attend
industry meetings and conferences as appropriate
Skills:
Requirements:
Must live in Chicagoland area
Highly motivated, self-starter
Must have proven sales track record with significant
earnings record
Only qualified candidates will be considered
Bachelors degree
Mechanical or Engineering background of 5 years +
Prior sales territory management
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal
skills
Strong computer skills and analytical thinking
