Acuren Inspection is currently seeking a full time/nested Inspection Coordinator to support a client site for our Gonzales, LA office. Applicants should reside locally within the Gonzales, Baton Rouge or New Orleans areas. Any one not residing locally MUST be willing to relocate.

Overtime is available as well as multiple turnaround opportunities per year.

Pay range will depend upon qualifications and years of experience - to be discussed directly between the candidate and hiring manager during interview process. (NOTE: Only those that meet the requirements specified will be contacted).

The following criteria/qualifications are a MUST:


The Inspection Coordinator should have the following qualifications and experience:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a role related to the inspection field.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in SAP software.
• Must possess at least one API certification.
• Must have good working knowledge of basic NDE techniques (UT, MT, RT, and PT).
• Must be familiar with specialty NDE techniques such as: Eddy Current testing, Remote Video inspection, Thermography, and Guided Wave testing.


The Inspection Coordinator’s scope of work includes, but is not limited to:

• Act as the first point of contact for process unit personnel, in regards to inspection-related needs.
• Procure in-house and outside (specialty) inspection services based on a defined schedule.
• Create SAP purchase requisitions for outside inspection service needs, which also includes invoice approval after services are completed.
• Turnaround inspection planning for his/her units of responsibility.
• Review of inspection reports performed by NDE technicians and API inspectors.
• Maintain the inspection reporting database for his/her units of responsibility. This includes the addition of new equipment as requested.
• Initiate inspection interval change documents as requested by equipment owners.
• Generate monthly reports for inspection outlooks/forecasts.
• Coordinate inspection support for outside fabrication / repair, as needed, for maintenance and project jobs.
• Participate in RCFA’s for fixed equipment.
• Coordinate pre-planned inspection needs that may occur after hours or on weekends for his/her units of responsibility.
• Create quality inspection reports and repair recommendations based on applicable industry codes and standards and in line with client procedures.
