As Canada’s largest non-union provider of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) services, we are looking for
Level II CGSB Ultrasonic Technicians to join our growing team, with Phased Array Experience. Buffalo Inspection Services offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
The Operations team is expanding, and we are seeking reliable and energetic individuals with specific skill sets and certifications to support our surface and integrity departments. The work environment is fun, fast-paced and highly rewarding.
• To inspect, interpret and evaluate test results of various materials under a specific code and in accordance with the employer and clients specifications.
• Prepare for each job or project by identifying tools, equipment, landscape of the job, and qualifications surrounding the project.
• Ensure a clear understanding of the scope of the job and budget resources are available while timing the job accordingly.
• Responsible for safety of you, your team and site personnel at all times.
• Understanding all regulations and rules are practiced as defined by company policy and by client and / or site specific guidelines.
• Identify, record and submit all project paperwork in a timely fashion.
• Mentor, assist and provide technical support to trainees and peers.
Skills:
Qualifications
• Level II CGSB certification. Minimum 5 years’ experience.
• Phased Array Experience preferred with PCN Certification in TOFD & Phased Array
• Current CSTS, Confined Space, H2S, Fall Arrest, First Aid are required.
• Knowledge of all NDE disciplines would be an asset. Oil & Gas experience a definite asset.
• Experience and knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills.
• Must be flexible and ability to work long hours and in a variety of working conditions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license. (Drivers abstract is required)
• Pre-access drug and alcohol testing is required.
• Travel maybe required.
• Security clearance required upon offer of employment.
