Position Summary:

Work Location: Various locations including Australia, Indonesia, and Europe. Must possess valid passport ability to obtain a Visa from each country as needed

The persons in this position are responsible for performing the hands-on inspection and preliminary evaluations of inspected items utilizing a C-Arm or Real Time Radiography system (RTR). This individual reports directly to the Program Manager.

Essential job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:

1. Demonstrate and ensure an overall commitment to safety.
2. Able to work in a team environment.
3. Possess a valid passport and able to work overseas.
4. Valid driver’s license without restrictions.
5. An NDT Level II individual shall be qualified to set up and calibrate equipment for task at hand.
6. Interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, specifications, procedures and customer’s specific requests.
7. Properly perform specific calibrations, specific NDE, and specific evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and to record accurate results.
8. As required by various jobs and clients:
a. Read isometric drawings.
b. Execute safety and permitting requirements.
c. Perform routine maintenance and repair equipment.
d. Operate vehicles and equipment (With certification or license).
e. Responsible for proper transportation, control and disposal of hazardous materials in technicians control.
9. Direct, instruct, and be a positive role model to the trainee or Level I that is accompanying them on the job.
Skills:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Level II certification in Gamma Radiography required. Any of the following methods as specified by the Company’s QA Manager are a plus:

a. C-Arm/Real-time Radiography certification
b. Ultrasonic –Thickness

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Valid driver’s license
3. Pass a Background Check and Drug Screen
4. IRRSP or State issued Radiographers card

Working Conditions:

Work extended hours in cold or hot weather temperatures. Overtime will be required.

Physical Restrictions:

1. The overall physical health of the Individual should be well enough to allow them to:
a. Vision – correctable to at least 20/40.
b. Climb stairs, ladders, and/or scaffolding up to 100 feet multiple times per day, utilizing three points of contact.
c. Be able to safely carry up to 65 pounds with one hand. Must be able to climb stairs/scaffolding/ladder while holding handrail with opposite hand.
d. Be able to work at heights up to 100 feet.
e. Be able to work in a crouched position for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 55 pounds while in the crouched position.
f. Be able to lift up to 65 pounds with a rope using hand-over-hand technique.
g. Be able to work in confined spaced and repetitively bend and/or twist through small entryways.
h. Be able to carry and effectively manipulate a twelve-to-sixteen foot ladder.
i. Be able to occasionally lift up to 65 pounds to shoulder level.
j. Be able to walk, climb on and maneuver on or around piping, piping supports and while working in a crouched position.
k. Must have hand dexterity to manipulate camera source cranks.
l. Arm strength push/pull up to 75 pounds; leg strength, up to 175 pounds.
