The Mechanical Integrity Level II Inspector is responsible for, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Perform Level II PRT inspections and other NDE inspections as specified;
Sketching isometric drawings;
Capable of reading and executing drawings and P& IDs;
Complete inspection per Engineering plan;
Perform and document ultrasonic thickness readings per company procedure;
Set up and calibrate testing equipment and materials;
Maintain and control radiation area;
Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results;
Organize and report test results;
Responsible for producing quality radiographs;
Manage long term projects;
Communicate with customer/client representatives on a daily basis;
Perform specialized inspections;
Effectively meet deadlines;
May be responsible for guidance and on-the-job training of Trainees and RT Assistants in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, procedures and NVI,LLC’s ASNT-TC-1A written practice;
Establish and manage all safety procedures and functions throughout a project;
Maintain and promote a positive attitude while on projects; and,
Any other assignment necessary to meet Level II responsibilities set forth by the Company.

Skills:
Required
2+ years Mechanical Integrity experience;
Level II RT or PRT (limited) Certification;
Level II UT Thickness Certification;
Familiar with applicable welding codes, i.e. ASME, API, AWS, etc.;
Capable of managing long-term projects; and,
Familiar/experience with Isometric Drawings, P&ID, Corrosion Mapping and Safety Flow Diagrams.

Preferred
Level II PT and PT Certifications;
APE Certifications a plus; and,
High School Diploma or GED.

Other Requirements
Able to meet travel requirements;
Efficiently carry out supervisors’ instruction;
Effective communication skills;
Above average computer skills-- Spreadsheet and Word Processing software;
Able to meet a "Call Out" work schedule;
Knowledgeable with OSHA's General and Construction safety industries;
Proficient in problem solving;
Punctual;
Able to pass FBI background check for T&R purposes;
Able to pass Motor Vehicle Record check; and,
Capable of passing Company Drug/Alcohol, Fit for Duty, and Ergonomic Testing with lifts of 60 pounds or more.
