Position Summary
Acuren is currently looking to hire an advanced tech, fulltime for a local refinery Baton Rouge.
We will need the candidate to be able to pass Clients certification tests, on site for manual shear wave and PAUT and carry current certifications.
It will be necessary for this candidate to have a working general knowledgeable with most ANDE disciplines and the correct method application ie: GUL,TOFD, HIC, EMAT, High Temp applications, AUT,
Manual Shear Wave, PAUT etc.
Willingness to achieve a Rope LV I cert is a must.
Experience with site Safety protocols.
This position will serve as the technical / NDE SME for Acuren at the Refinery and be available as a resource for other sites
This candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills as he will interface regularly with high level Client inspection department personnel.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Some college preferred
NDT Level II Certification
Level II UT ,Shear wave PAUT, TOFT, GUL,EMAT , High temp Applications
Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
Knowledge of NDT equipment
