Operations Manager on the Alaskan North Slope

We are currently accepting resumes for an Operations Manager:

POSITION SUMMARY: The Operations Manager is responsible for operational accountability for the entire project. The Operations Manager is responsible for meeting the customer’s needs and assuring good customer service through managing the day-to day operations of the project. This includes scheduling projects and technicians and supplying equipment to meet project specifications, developing strong customer relations and reacting promptly to customer questions and concerns. The Operations Manager will maintain a high functioning employee base through solid HR practices and safety education and awareness programs.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

• Manage staffing, resources, and work assignments.
• Effectively supervise workforce.
• Maintain professional structure within the workforce.
• Provide supervision and support to the entire operations department.
• Assure production KPI goals are met and reported to Project Manager.
• Lead by example in the flawless execution of Company’s HSE policies.
• Assist Project Manager with development of quarterly PRMs.
• Liaison between management and operational workforce.
• Ensure timely completion of deadline driven projects.
• Conduct planned site inspections to ensure quality and safety.
• Communicate needs and production requirements with client and partner contractors.
• Troubleshoot deficiencies and provides solutions.
• Assure company policies are implemented and followed.
• Maintain adequate staffing and resources to ensure project completions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• The Operations Manager shall have an API 570 certification and Operations Manager on the Alaskan North Slope

• Additionally the following skills sets are a must have:
o Team building capabilities
o Strong leadership qualities
o Strong computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Power Point and trainable in "database" programs)
o Strong knowledge of process equipment and damage mechanisms
o Strong analytical skills
o Strong organizational skills
o Public speaking
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs.

We are seeking candidates that are willing to make a minimum 1-2 year commitment. This is a FULLTIME position with benefits. We are not seeking short term contractors. You are responsible for travel costs to and from Anchorage or Fairbanks, AK.
