Position Purpose:
* The main function of the Inspector for the Difficult to Inspect market is to perform onshore and offshore activities with clients according to established inspection methods and procedures. The results of these inspections are used to safeguard the integrity of client's pressurized assets. As an Inspector for DTI, you may be traveling and performing field activities in both the United States and Canada. While in the office, activities will include analyzing data, reporting and performing pre and post job equipment maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Discuss and coordinate the project with the client to ensure a successful inspection.
* Prepare and configure the in line inspection equipment for the specific application.
* Plan, prepare and evaluate the work conditions and safety situation mitigating any potential hazards.
* Perform field inspection using the appropriate line inspection tool(s).
* Complete daily paperwork and timesheets, as necessary.
* Analyze, evaluate and interpret the inspection results.
* Draft inspection reports for the project manager to review.
* Follow and enforce the Company required safe work practices and procedures at all times.
* Follow and enforce Company policies at all times.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and promote a positive customer service attitude internally and externally.
* Enforce and abide the requirements of safe operation and personal safety using required Personal Protective Equipment and Safe Practices per company policy.
* Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience:
* High School diploma or GED required, college degree or some college preferred
* 3-5+ years of work experience.
* Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel Skills
* Strong analytical and interpretive skills
* Field and/or data analysis experience in any ILI technology, preferably UT compression wave
* Some familiarity with US pipeline Industry's regulations & standards
* Prefer that successful candidate meets ASNT ILI PQ 2010 Level 2 requirements for field technician and/or data analyst
* Proficient in English (verbal &written)
* The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
* May be requested to work overtime and weekends occasionally.
* Ability to travel when required, nationally, up to 30%-50% of the time and potentially, international travel required.
Evident Ultrasonic Inspection Equipment
