The Assistant Technician will assist the Level II NDE Technician with the designated NDT method activities while gaining experience and knowledge.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

•Assist technicians with setting up and tearing down of equipment
•Assist with proper documentation and reports of services provided.
•Unpack and package parts upon completion of the inspection.
•Perform fluorescent penetrant removal and processing parts thru the dryer for the inspectors.
•Assist in magnetic particle inspection as directed by NDT Level 2.
•Rubber-stamping of parts when required and directed by NDT Level 2.

Must be able to provide the following:

•Resume High school diploma or equivalent.
•Basic computer skills (word processing, data entry, simple spreadsheets)
•Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
