We are seeking a qualified machine tool service technician for calibrating and servicing industrial quality control equipment throughout North America.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a quality machine tool manufacturer. The candidate will have 5 years or more experience in the installation and repair of machine tools with electrical controls. Both Mechanical and Electrical background servicing machine tools that utilize PLC controls will be necessary.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Travel throughout North America to customer facilities, however most travel will be in the Midwest.
Mechanical and electrical (with very minor electronic) servicing of machines manufactured by our company with expansion into the competitors machines.
Provide customer maintenance training for company products.
Perform machine installations and commissioning.
Provide customer demonstrations and operator training.
Be able to provide customers troubleshooting assistance via telephone and or email when necessary.

- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in performing service and repairs on machinery with electrical controls.
- Strong reading and comprehension skills.
- Present a professional image.
- Excellent communications and customer skills.
- Background in servicing and troubleshooting machinery mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of PLC controls a plus.
- Knowledge in use of Microsoft office products and the internet.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Ability to independently travel to customer locations.
