Center of Excellence (COE) is a focused approach that solves problems in a specific industry or inspection methodology by synthesizing Traditional and Advanced NDT techniques, repair methods, etc along with standardized procedures and reporting.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

• Ensure consistency and uniformity throughout all Mistras labs conducting wind inspection/maintenance/repair by utilizing standardized procedures, equipment, training and reporting tools.
• Ensure the integration of the various wind activities of the group into a global service offer and also the other
Mistras offers that are valuable for the wind industry.

o Procedures
• Promote our services to OEMs and operators by establishing their specific short, medium and long term needs
• Realize a competitive and technology intelligence review and maintain a road map and also keeping in mind
Mistras actual technologies and services.
• Identify strategically relevant business opportunities according to company strategy.
• Keep a record of his activities, contacts and opportunities (Zoho).
• Coordinate multi-site activities within the framework of MSA’s, including representation activities, preparation of
Service offers, negotiation and execution of contracts.
• Reach and maintain our desired leader position in the industry.
• Develop and create new relationships in the wind industry.
• Assisting in training and educating of all employees involved with Wind Services.
• Conduct job site visits to audit performance and quality of Wind Services.
• Assist in the growth of Wind Services to all labs.
• Attend industry specific conferences.
• Expand advanced services market in relation to Wind inspection.
• Audit final inspection reports.
• Project a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, positive behavior that encourages customer confidence and reflects the professional image desired by Mistras.
• Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships. Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Travel throughout NA and Europe as needed.
• Carrying out any other actions needed to attain the objectives

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 10 years of experience in the Wind Industry
• Has hold management/marketing development position
• Solid understanding and technical knowledge of the wind industry needs and challenges
• Proficient with computers, Word, Excel, AutoCAD LT and Outlook
• Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, telephone and follow-up skills
• Experience working with different functional and multi-cultural teams.
• Demonstrate strong administrative skills with excellent judgment and problem resolution skills and ability.
• Excellent verbal communications.
• Successfully pass drug test and back ground check.
• Fluent in English and English (speaking-writing), other language is of value (German).

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

• Frequent lifting up to 15 kg.
