On-Staff Level II Phased Array Technician

Essential Functions
• ASNT level II technician in Phased Array with experience in High Energy Piping, Welds

• Provide technical support/consultation to clients

• Execute visual inspection and NDE (PT, MT & UT) of utility fossil fueled boiler pressure parts and auxiliary equipment

• Compile inspection results and create recommendation reports; interact and present management inspection data and maintenance recommendations to plant engineers

• Assistant to NDE Manager

Skills:
Job Requirements
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent in work related experience

• Power plant maintenance, industrial maintenance, or boiler related experience preferred

• Ability to work and not be affected by confined spaces or elevated heights above ground elevation

• Ability to travel extensively

• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment

• Strong analytical ability, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to learn

• Strong PC based computer skills (Word and Excel)

• Familiarity with OmniScan
