NVI is HIRING Level II Radiographers for our Odessa, TX Division. The Level II Radiography Technician is responsible for, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:

-Perform Level II RT inspections and other NDE inspections as specified;
-Set up and calibrate testing equipment and materials;
-Calculate, establish and control radiation area;
-Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results;
-Organize and report test results;
-Responsible for producing quality radiographs;
-Manage long term projects;
-Able to meet travel expectations;
-Communicate with customer/client representatives on a daily basis;
-Perform specialized inspections;
-Effectively meet deadlines;
-May be responsible for guidance and on-the-job training of Trainees and RT Assistants in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, procedures and the Company's written practice;
-Establish and manage all safety procedures and functions throughout a project;
-Effectively meet deadlines established by management and the client;
-Maintain and promote a positive attitude while on projects; and,
-Any other assignment necessary to meet Level II RT responsibilities set forth by the Company.
Skills:
Required:

-ASNT/ACCP Level II Radiography certification, or Documented field hours and classroom education that meets or exceeds SNT-TC-1A certification requirements for method of Radiography;
-Valid State Radiographer Card or IRRSP Card;
-Fluent in manual film processing;
-Knowledgeable with applicable welding codes, i.e. ASME, API, AWS, etc.;
-List of projects managed as a Level II Radiographer;
Education history;
-Valid U.S. driver's license and able to pass Motor Vehicle History Evaluations;
-Able to pass an FBI background verification in accordance with Company's Increased Controls program; and,
-Capable of passing Company's Drug/Alcohol, Fit for Duty, and Ergonomic Testing policies/procedures.

Preferred:

-ASNT/ACCP Level II MT, PT, UT Certifications, or Documented field hours and classroom education that meets or exceeds SNT-TC-1A certification requirements for methods of MT, PT, and UT;
-High School Diploma, GED, and/or advanced education.

-Strong communication skills;
-Knowledgeable with OSHA’s General and Construction safety industries;
-Punctual and ambitious; and,
